Greg Vaughn is a former Major League Baseball player from Sacramento, California. In his post-baseball career, he’s remained involved with JDRF and Vaughn’s Valley Foundation – his very own non-profit organization.
“Greg Vaughn Enterprises is my chapter two—my way of building a legacy that’s about more than home runs and RBI’s” – Greg Vaughn
Vaughn’s Valley Foundation (VVF) was created because I have deep ties to the Sacramento valley. This is where so many people influenced my life and where I want to focus my efforts to do more in this community. It’s my goal to continue my efforts with the striking out Type 1 diabetes (T1D), because my son Cory was diagnosed with T1D at the age of eleven, but I’m expanding the reach of VVF.
The Foundation’s purpose will not only be to raise needed funds directly, but if I can use my resources to offer positive exposure to community organization in the valley then VVF will be successful.
